PTS is providing construction management and construction inspection services for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough’s Cheri Lake Drive, Karen Avenue and King Arthur Drive Road Improvements project, located in Houston, Alaska.
3rd Avenue Pedestrian Safety Improvements
PTS assisted the Municipality of Anchorage, Project Management and Engineering Department with design reviews and daily construction inspection in 2023. PTS will continue to provide construction inspection in the 2024 construction season to assist with project closeout.
4th Avenue Signals and Lighting Upgrade - E Street to A Street
The 4th Avenue project will upgrade street and pedestrian lighting and traffic signals, by replacing deteriorating and substandard lighting and signal poles, foundations, junction boxes, conduit, wiring, load centers, and traffic controller cabinets.
Dillingham Downtown
PTS provided postconstruction survey and monumentation services to help the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities complete the Dillingham Downtown Street Rehabilitation project.
Anchorage Area Drainage - C Street
PTS provided daily construction inspections and SWPPP inspections, quantity tracking, quality control, and closeout documentation.

PTS provided construction inspection services for the Ptarmigan Elementary School Area Pedestrian Improvements project.
Boney Courthouse
The Boney Courthouse is located in downtown Anchorage, bounded by 3rd and 4th Avenues and I and K Street. The Plaza consists of decorative, patterned concrete, landscaping, lighting, and pedestrian site amenities. The November 30, 2018 Earthquake caused damage to the Boney Courthouse Plaza concrete, including heaving, cracking, and material failures.
Peterson Creek Fish Passage Culvert Improvements
The project replaced a failing 48-in CMP culvert with a 15-ft wide aluminum arch culvert. Installation included substrate in the culvert that mimics the natural stream bed and restores fish passage and natural channel function.
Dowling Road and Seward Highway Interchange Reconstruction
The Alaska Department of Transportation is working to reconstruct the Dowling Road and Seward Highway interchange. Project work includes expanding the Dowling Road roundabouts and replacing the Seward Highway overpass bridge at Dowling Road. Major project work was complete in the late fall of 2022 and final work will take place throughout 2023.
East 16th Avenue Storm Drain Improvement
PTS provided Project Management and Construction Management services to the Municipality of Anchorage, Project Management & Engineering Department for the East 16th Avenue Storm Drain Improvement project.
Geneva Woods South Storm Drainage
The scope of the project is to address conditions of a poorly functioning Municipal storm drain system, evaluate various drainage improvement alternatives, and recommend a design solution.
