PTS provided construction inspection services for the Ptarmigan Elementary School Area Pedestrian Improvements project. Located in east Anchorage, the project included pedestrian walkability improvements at the intersection of Newell Street and E. 6th Avenue, adjacent to Ira Walker Park. The project provided a new sidewalk, crosswalks and signage to the park, new curbs and pavement, and storm drains, as well as other improvements to gas and communication services. These improvements will benefit neighborhood connectivity and provide safe access for children walking to Ptarmigan Elementary School.
