PTS provided topographic survey, public involvement, civil engineering, and construction inspection for the Municipality of Anchorage, Project Management and Engineering Department (PM&E) for the Ticia Circle/Ashley Circle Area Drainage Improvements Project.

These residential roadways were heavily damaged during the 7.1 magnitude earthquake on November 30, 2018. The earthquake compounded existing subgrade deficiencies, requiring frequent maintenance, and making regular street maintenance very difficult. Improvements to the Ticia/Ashley roadways include extending a sub drain system from W. 91st Ave, raising the roadway elevation to improve surface drainage and road performance, placing new asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter, LED streetlights, and adding ADA access to upgraded USPS mailboxes and existing pedestrian facilities to the north.

Ticia Circle and the portion of Ashely Circle, between Ticia Circle and Cranberry Street, were constructed in fall of 2021. The remaining portion of Ashley Circle will be completed early summer of 2022.
