East 16th Avenue Storm Drain Improvement

PTS provided Project Management and Construction Management services to the Municipality of Anchorage, Project Management & Engineering Department for the East 16th Avenue Storm Drain Improvement project.

The project is primarily located in the parking lot of Sullivan and Ben Boeke arenas but extends into the Chester Creek Greenbelt and E. 16th Avenue near Mulcahy Stadium. The project includes replacing 2,270-LF of storm drain pipe, installation of an oil & grit separator, and installation of 17 storm drain structures. The outfall for the system discharges into Chester Creek where a combination of riprap and willow cuttings were used for slope stabilization. PTS field staff were on site for the entirety of construction to oversee the contractor and maintain communication with design staff.
