Senior Project Civil Engineer

Professional & Technical Services, Inc. (PTS) is currently seeking a Senior Project Civil Engineer to assist with transportation, utility, and site development projects. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, however, candidates with Project Management or similar degrees will be considered

• 4-10 years of relevant experience (both office and field experience preferred)

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Valid Alaska driver’s license

The successful candidate will assist PTS Project Management staff with the coordination of the delivery of municipal and state transportation, utility, and site development projects.  Duties may include project scope, budget and schedule development/tracking, meeting coordination, project documentation, preparation and/or review of project plans/specifications, assistance with civil engineering documents, preparation of bidding and contract documents, oversight of office and field work, field inspection, material quantity tracking, contract amendments/change orders, and other tasks as assigned.
