Engineer Intern

Professional and Technical Services, Inc. (PTS) is currently interested in hiring an Engineer Intern to assist with the design, fieldwork, and construction inspection of Alaska civil engineering projects associated with transportation, water, sewer, storm drain, electrical, storm water compliance, and site development projects. Preferred qualifications include:

• Working towards a degree in engineering, surveying, or construction management

• Strong computer skills

• Valid Alaska driver’s license

Duties may include working with civil engineers, project managers, environmental professionals, and construction inspectors in support of civil projects, field survey, and preparation of plans and specifications, reports, and studies.

• This is a seasonal position, with expected duration of 12 to 16 weeks during the construction season. Some work during the school year may be available.

• Applicants shall be available to travel for work throughout Alaska for extended durations during the summer construction season.

• EITs, LSITs, or those seeking an internship are encouraged to apply.
